Students are required to have a computer, laptop or mobile phone at their home to study in this online free course. The practical demonstration has been shown using CISCO Packet Tracer. It is a simulation software that you need to install on your laptop or computer for the practices. It is an open source application that you can download from the Internet.
Free video lectures are available and a free online exam platform is also available for the students to give exams and check their progress.
Students have to do self-study by watching all class video lectures from our website under the Class menu. Students may see those videos as many times as they wish to do for their better understanding. Students have to practice the practical lesson using the CISCO Packet Tracer application several times on their own computer or laptop until they completely understand their lesson.
Students have to register their details through our website under the Exam menu in Registration Form and after the successful registration a unique Enrollment Number will be generated. The students are required to write down that Enrollment Number safely because the same will be required to give an online exam.
The students may give the online exam through the website under Exam menu and for that they need to provide the Enrollment Number which has been generated after successful student registration along with the Date of Birth in the Exam Login Form. The exam will be conducted in MCQ mode where 100 Questions will appear one after another with four options for each question. Students have to select the most appropriate one among the list of four options. Only two hours have been allotted for completing the set of 100 Questions. If the students fail to complete all questions within the stipulated time period then the exam paper will automatically get submitted after two hours and otherwise the students have to click the submit button by themself to submit the exam. The students need to score at least 40 Marks or more to qualify the online exam. If student cannot qualify the exam then the student can reappear for the exam again but to do that they need another unique Enrollment Number and which they can generate by providing their registered Aadhaar Number and Date of Birth in the Regenerate Enrollment Number Form that is available just below the new Registration Form under the Exam menu.
Students may check their result status after completing their online exam immediately or later depending on their wish under the Result menu by providing the Enrollment Number and Date of Birth. The system generates the result and certificate automatically after the students click the exam submit button. The student's exam performance will be graded by the system automatically depending on the number of correct answers selected by the students during the exam out of a total 100 Questions. Each of the correct answers will reward the students by 1 Positive Mark and Negative Mark will be not applicable for incorrect answers. Therefore students are given advice to answer all questions without leaving a single one within the stipulated exam time of two hours.
Students reading in Schools and Colleges of any age will be provided an Open Book Online Platform for giving their Examination that is based on Standard Syllabus of Computer Networking.
Hundred Questions will appear one after another with four Options for each Question and one of those four Options is the most appropriate Answer and other three Options are incorrect.
Each Question carries single point and in the Question set there are hundred Questions carrying hundred points.
Any of those Questions can be skipped without answering but it is advisable to attain maximum numbers of Question as negative marking is not applicable for wrong attempt.
Acquiring forty points in Online Examination is necessary for successfully qualifying the pass Certificate in that Examination.
Students; those who acquire below forty points will not be awarded with the Certificate but they can reappear for the same Examination further with an expectation of improved performance.
Students are required to register their details along with uploading their passport size clear photo in the student registration form that is provided at the Examination menu.
