All networking devices have unique identity over the network.
How are we going to search a student in a class?
By the student name only
It happens to be sometimes that two or more students are having same name.
If you call a particular name then all students of same name in a class will appear in-front of you.
How will this ambiguity solve?
By Unique roll number those are given to every students of same class.
If you call the roll number in a class then that individual student will respond only.
Same in the computer network
Each and every device over the network has unique set of numbers that is called IP Address.
IP Address let us to identify the intended networking device over the network.

There are two types of connection Wired and Wireless.
